shizoor The disagreement between the association known as “Resisting Hate” and “Black won’t crack” which formed as a result of the abuse meted out by “Resisting Hate” has reached a new nadir.
Normally I try to present both sides of a dispute but i this post I won’t be because Resisting Hate’s abuse has reached such a level, and their actions have reached such a terrible new low that attempting to equivocate would be inappropriate and abusive in itself.
Approximately 2 years ago Judy Gatiss took issue with the actions of the Resisting Hate group, disagreeing with some practises such as the lawyer Mohammed Akunjee visiting the homes of racists to give them the opportunity to show online how they’ve reformed themselves. Taking a look at the timeline of one of those people shows that he basically stops posting racist material for a short while then eventuallt acquiesces back to his usual behaviour, so the visit was likely not productive, and indeed may have simply rehabilitated the profile of a racist who had no intention of reform. There much more to it than this, and this serves only as one example.
What followed was a torrent of abuse from the “Resisiting Hate” side, doxxing (posting of phone numbers and home address locations online), threats, racism, references to pedophilia, ableism and the systematic drowning out of anyone who wished to discuss the matter in a non-abusive manner.
Over the last 3 weeks, the “Resisting Hate” group have actively colluded with the far right in an organised hate campaign against the association “Black Won’t Crack”.
One element of this being creating a massive number of abusive sock accounts including one called lupuslips, designed specifically to mock the child of a member of Black Won’t Crack. That account is https://twitter.com/lupuslips Pease assist us in reporting this and any other far right infiltration into the left and other groups.
They have also recruited a CIC (Community interest company) in their campaign against Black Won’t Crack. Due to years of under-regulation and mismanagement by the Conservative government, a lot of people in England have houses that are not built in a way that conserve heat properly. This is exacerbated at the moment by massive energy prices in the UK, again due to the government’s failure to regulate the energy industry. It’s a similar situation with water and sewage with the UK being an example to to the world of why these indusries have to remain under government control.
Depher raises funds and makes repairs and in some cases replaces boilers and other items in a person’s home. This, on it’s own is great, but is no solution for the people in England as his team will not be able to reach anywhere close to the number of homes needed to make a difference. James Anderson, the head engineer behind the Depher project has also been seen to be posting pictures of Golliwogs on facebook. A golliwog is a knitted puppet of a black person and is intended to be racist. He has been unapologetic about this and appears to be happy to collude in the hate campaign against “Black wont Crack”.
Depher is well liked in the UK and has been endorsed by the celebrity Stephen Fry. He does, however know what he’s doing and does appear to be willingly taking part in the campaign of lies and abuse against Black wont Crack. (Depher, not Fry)
It is worth pointing out that in Wales, there is a nationalised scheme that does exactly what depher does and will also install solar panels. https://nest.gov.wales If the English government had the political will to help people, this situation would simply not have arisen. Instead of encouraging people to get solar panels, they have discouraged their use in order to maximise the profits of the oil and gas industry.
Please assist Black Won’t Crack by looking out for any abuse they are receiving. If you see an account that says “Socialist, BLM” in the bio, but they’re hurling racist abuse, that person is no socialist and you should have no qualms about reporting.
